- What I Am Thankful For
We all take things for granted and forget to count our blessings and remind ourselves how lucky we are. Today I’m going to talk about what I am thankful for. Being thankful shouldn’t just happen around Thanksgiving or the Holidays, but everyday. To start off, I am very thankful for having such a caring family, especially my Dad and Grandparents. My Grandparents cherish me like a pure gold trophy. Always looking out for me and going out of their way to please myself, which is not something every kid/teen gets. And whenever they can’t, my Dad always can. They buy me all of my necessities and wants that are most often times expensive and costly, which I do feel somewhat bad about, but hey if they’re willing to then why not. My family sees such great potential in me and I adore that.
Having a nice house to live in, a bed to sleep in, clothes to wear, food to eat, an education, and money may seem average but they are things not everyone has and for that reason I am forever grateful. There’s so much more though, that I am truly thankful for, that all I can finish to say is everything. I am so fortunate for everything in my life; the good and bad and everything in between. I know there are others out there that may never know how it feels to be in the shoes I am, and that’s really mind boggling for myself.
Believe it or not, you have something to be thankful for every single day. It may not be easy to see since as I said, we take things for granted a lot, but you do. I hope everyone can take a chance this season and count their blessings and say thank you to those who deserve it, I’m sure it would make their day. Spread love and kindness and don’t forget how good you have it even when you’re at a low point. Remember, the things you take for granted .. someone else is praying for.
